Cowboys, rookies, and veterans report to training camp in Oxnard, California, just up the road from us, July 21st. One of the big storylines everyone is going to be following is, we'll star player Michael Parsons have a new deal in place.

So he's slated to earn a little over $24 million in base salary on the fifth and final year of his rookie contract.

So look, it's always interesting because I love asking current and former players is because y'all don't like to talk about each other's money. And I get that. It's a respect thing. Isaiah, you work for Dallas. So I know you're going to be following all of the developments for the team. That's the plug right here. So while we await the possible deal with Parsons, why are you excited to see the Cowboys in 2025? It's a new vibe. It's a new energy. And I know that's not something that's necessarily tangible for a lot of people that are necessarily sitting at home. But for somebody that's in the building and you see this cultural shift with the entire organization. It's not just one side of the ball like when Dan Quinn came in, right? He energized that entire and the entire portion of the locker room this is the entire team

coach schidheimer has literally came in and it's fun again for these guys and for anybody

has played ball in the league you want to feel like that cat that was in high school or in

college running around hitting having fun making plays that's what it is back in Dallas again

guys are they're joking around they're being like family again it feels feels like a brotherhood. And practice is fun. It's competitive. So I think a lot of the pressure has been alleviated. That's not to say that Coach McCarthy's culture was bad. It's just to say that this is new. It's light. It's fun.
