That's right, Kimmy. The Texans and DeNeil Hunter agreed to terms late Wednesday on a one-year, $35.6 million contract extension

that now locks up Hunter through 2026 and makes them in the NFL's second highest paid defense event.

He initially came to Houston last year on a two-year deal.

Obviously made a big impact for them.

He now gets a $12.5 million raise this season and $55 million total through 2026.

The vast majority of that fully guaranteed.
