as Colts owner, Jim Ursay, passed away yesterday.

He did, Sarah, and the Colts announced it, of course, officially, and he passed away in his

sleep at the age of 65.

And for those of us who've watched him for decades, it's incredibly sad news.

I only knew Jim Ursay from afar, but I've always felt that Jim Mersey was unique among owners.

He became the youngest owner at 37 years old, and he had this image of the hippie,

flower child, rock star owner. I think Jim Hersey was the closest thing we had to Tony Stark in the

NFL. I also think that many owners who may even be successful in football or maybe

even be beloved in their communities are not relatable to fans, because how could they be?

Their lives are so different. But I think in a way Jim Ursay was, and I think it was because of his

flaws, because of his demons. Jim Mersay was not just a suit in a suite.

And again, that's relatable.

And I think despite all he endured, I think parts of Jim Ursay were really, really cool.
