Tonight, though, he faces a Ravens defense ranking dead last in passing yards allowed per game.

Now, John Harper was asked earlier this week if his defensive backfield is trending in the right direction.

So, Coach, how are they looking?

I think it's a process through the whole season to get better at everything, you know.

There seems to be an expectation that you're going to be perfect at everything, every, every aspect of your game,

from the first game to the last game to the end. And that seems to be the requirement, you know, and it's just not reality. It's not reality in anything. We have a growth mindset. We don't have a fixed mindset. We understand that we can't get better, you know, and we work hard to get better. Every single day at every single thing we do. So you face challenges, you face circumstances, and you meet them as you find them. You meet them

where they're at. You meet your circumstances where they're at. That's what I was looking for.

Meet your circumstances where they're at. I think that's pretty good. Pretty good indeed there,

coach. But this is already the second round of this meeting, Bengals and Ravens. They met back in

week five. The Ravens defeating the Bengals in OT, the final 41 to 38.

So if my math is mathing, that is 79 points in the first game.

Peter, can we expect a similar outcome here tonight for Thursday night football?

Yes, yes, and we'd be so lucky to have it. We have two of the best quarterbacks in the league and they're both at their full powers right now. I thought, you know, Burrow started off slow out of the gates, got gone, had some huge numbers, then lost to Philly two weeks ago. You're like, all right, that's the Bengals. Then they answer last week at home against the Raiders and burrow throws for all those touchdowns, and you're like, that's the dude. That is the guy.
