He picked up some hardware after being named the NFL MVP last season.

But ultimately, his team coming up a little short of that ultimate prize,

the Lombardi Trophy, after falling to the chiefs in the AFC championship game, and he told SI.com, the ring is still the thing that he's chasing. Yeah, pretty much every single player, right? Alan's saying, quote, you know, it's such a great honor, and I do appreciate being honored for I work, but at the same time, I still didn't win a Super Bowl, didn't win a ring, and that is the only goal.

It's the only focus that I've ever had going into this league.

Yeah, it's tough, right?

Like when you have in the AFC a guy like Patrick Mahomes, who seemingly every single year,

and I get it, Jalen Hertz and the Eagles won the Super Bowl,

but at least to get through Patrick Mahomes is not necessarily the easiest thing to do.

So I ask you, who's that, who's that player, who's that team that can get over the hump and finally dethrone the Kansas City Chiefs? You know what, Mike? This is a loaded question. It is. This is a very loaded question because there's two parts to it. You have the quarterback aspect and then you have the team aspect. Right. We know that the QB leads. How the QB goes, usually how the team goes. So with that in mind, I am going to go with the team and the quarterback that I feel has the most momentum as of late. Right. And I believe that is Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills. I think in the AFC, these guys are strong. Obviously, Josh Allen has improved every single year. Josh Allen just won the MVP in the league. Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills over the last three years have went wild card, division and now they went it all the way to the AFC championship game. I believe that these guys have increased in their production every year.

Now the quarterback is probably at the height of his game. And I think that they're one game away from going to the big time show. They are. But yet I look at a James Cook in that backfield.

Contract issues there. We still question some of the offensive pieces at that wide receiver spot

around Josh Allen. Good answer. He got their home stretch
