Today is my last day on Good Morning Football.

I end with great feelings. We're going to celebrate today.

It's all good, but this will be the last episode I will be on this program. And with a heavy heart, I'm stepping away. But it's also for good reasons and for a bright future. And hopefully we'll all still be crossing paths. And we can talk about ball elsewhere. It'll be fine. My reaction, Peter, is actually shock because when I heard that there was big news, I thought it was your mock draft was coming up. Not yet. No? Not yet. All right. So you leaving the show, that's a pretty big deal. I'm going to have to adjust to that. And we're going to talk about it a lot this morning. I promise you. And I know Jamie has thoughts and everyone has thoughts and you watching at home have thoughts and likely some emotion. And we will have the as the show endures and we're going to try to do some things that Peter likes this morning and that's a very shortness of things it's like basically one thing so we'll try to find it we've been looking for it for almost nine years and maybe today we'll be able to do it strikes when I heard the when I heard the news on Friday I told Jamie I felt like a guard or a Ford that got signed to the Dallas Mavericks and was looking forward to playing with Luca Donchich, and right when I get on the scene, he's gone. And so I'm like, what the heck, man? I'm over here trying to figure this thing out, but I'm really going to miss you, brother. We're going to do it right by you today, man. That's a really nice compliment, man.

You've been A-plus and unbelievable since joining the show this season. Rest assured, we will be talking a lot in the future, and you're unbelievable. And that's really kind. Luca, I'll take it five-time all NBA. That's what I'm saying. When he said that to me on the phone the other day, I was like, you got to say that on the show.
