We're going to begin, though. We have to talk about the extreme heat ahead of Memorial Day

weekend. Our Ginger Z has been tracking it all. Ginger, you were in Kansas yesterday. Now you're back and we're talking heat. Yes, and that same front is going to break this heat here in the Northeast. So yes, we've got one more hot day, but yesterday, Philadelphia, it was one of the cities that had their hottest May temperature on record, meaning that in the 150 years or so of records, we've never hit 98 degrees in the month of May, but in Philadelphia, they did it yesterday.

So today we have another warm one with records possible this afternoon, but that line of storms comes through and damaging wind is a real hazard.

We're now in a level two out of five four severe storms that includes Washington, D.C.,

Baltimore, New Jersey, New York City, right up into, say, Greenwich, Connecticut. So please, when those storms come through, because it's going to be sunny before. A lot of people are like, oh, it's a sunny, nice day. That's the fuel for the thunderstorms. Don't be surprised. Have two ways of getting warnings. Then the bottom falls out and the temperatures drop some 30 to 35 degrees.

And a quick note, a lot of people start hitting the road tomorrow.

So we wanted to mention that there are rain showers, especially heavy,

going into tomorrow from Texas into the Gulf Coast.

stays rainy, especially in the southeast. Memorial Day itself is cooler than normal here in the
