Kansas City and Des Moines got into that snow early and now it's Chicago. Look at that video from

Kansas City earlier this morning. A lot of them are going above average for the season. Meanwhile,

Detroit getting at lower peninsula throughout tonight and an ice storm warning for Toledo. Let's turn

to the west though because we're going to look for Los Angeles to be preparing for Thursday storm.

That's when flood watches are all the way from the San Francisco Bay Area all the way down

the coast and rightfully so.

It's going to come in hard Wednesday night here.

So late tonight through early Thursday, we stopped the clock at 2 p.m.

That's when those mountains say the Santa Monica Mountains, San Bernardino Mountains, anybody

with a burn scar could see some serious mudslides

or ash flow even on top of that.
