And I'm Mary Bruce. Great to be here with Cameron Matheson on this Monday.

Happy to be here, everybody. It's Memorial Day, as we all know.

And right there, that is a look at Arlington National Cemetery,

the resting place for so many who gave their lives for this country.

And of course, we thank all of our military families for their service and their sacrifice.

Yeah, today we honor them.

And ahead, we are celebrating America and the joy of reading.

Disney teams up with Blue Star families

for a big book event that helps out service members

and their families too.

We cannot wait for that, but we are going to begin

with record Memorial Day Travel.

Transportation correspondent, Gio Benitez,

is at Newark Airport with the outlook for today.

Hey, Mary, so so far it's busy here, but it's actually looking pretty smooth, fingers crossed.

That's what we're seeing across the country right now as well.
