investigative correspondent Aaron Kutorski is at the courthouse. Aaron, good afternoon.

Good afternoon, Eva, for the better part of the first week of testimony, the jury heard

the intimate, often painful and uncomfortable testimony of Cassie Ventura. This week, the goal

for federal prosecutors is to back her up,

and that starts with bringing Don Richard, Diddy's former bandmate, making the band reality show,

cast member, Diddy, Dirty Money. She is back on the witness stand. She's already said that she

was at Sean Combs's home studio in 2009 when she witnessed Combs, tried to take a swing at Cassie Ventura with a frying pan,

and then kicked her on the ground while she was curled up in a fetal position.

She also started to tell the jury how Combs then locked her and Kalina Harper from Diddy Dirty Money into the recording studio, and she described

it, threatened them, saying it would be better for you if you didn't talk, because where

he comes from, people tend to disappear if they talk.

Now the defense sought to limit the scope of this testimony.

The defense says this is all a bunch of gossip, but federal prosecutors believe that this shows
