in Alexandria, Virginia. Wasn't Alexandria part of Washington at one point?

Part of Alexandria was part of Washington, not all of it, but there's a rock that's part of the

original cornerstone that's in a strange metal cage right here where I live. And I don't know

why the rock has to be in a cage, but it's the rock that marks the original boundary.
