This week, Brittany and I chatted with Gabrielle Horton and Martina Abrams Ilunga, the host of Nadel, a podcast about having a baby while black.

Nadel dropped its second season on February 10th, and it follows the stories of black

families in rural Mississippi, Iowa, and Hawaii.

It also has interludes from midwives, birth workers, and medical professionals who are

all on the front lines of black birthing health.

Brittany and I were so taken by how generous the families were with their stories

and how paramount reproductive justice is to ensuring the safety and care of future generations.
