Hi, my name is Andy and welcome to Radio Headspace and a Thursday morning.

So recently I was reading through some comments online and one jumped out of me.

There was somebody talking about how overwhelmed they were feeling with probably just this year

generally but I think particularly everything that's been going on just recently.

And they said that if they could have one thing, if they could wish for one thing it would

be to have a pause button to stop the world.

And it really jumped out of me because it's an interesting idea.

I think this desire just to put everything on pause.

In fact I think often when people begin training their mind they perhaps even think it's about

pausing the mind or pausing the world.

And in some ways it is in some ways it's not but it reminded me of a time and stay with

me.

This is going somewhere when I was learning to juggle.

I don't know if you've ever learnt to juggle to begin with, you know you start with just

a couple of balls, maybe three balls and you feel like you have no time.

It feels but you know over time as you get more comfortable with it it feels like you

have lots of time actually.

You have so much time you can move the balls around you do other tricks and anyway I've

been juggling for a while and I was trying to go from four balls to five balls.

And I remember being sort of I think I was in a park at a time down by the side of a river

somewhere.

I was juggling and sort of you know it was going okay but there was definitely some thinking
