my name is Barry Dean Stevenson.

My family has been blessed to be a opportunity to serve in high school ministry. I had the opportunity to serve in high school ministry.

I had the chance to go to Germany with a group of men from the church, stay at the home of David and

Carrie Campbell, share the gospel to Syrian refugees on the streets of Berlin. My wife is in like 14 different prayer groups. She is a

rock star and I'm very grateful for her.

Our daughters were raised in the church.

Our daughter, Riley, and her husband Charlie

are part of the worship team here.

And our daughter Hadley left here.

She's part of the worship team where she goes to church as she finishes

her degree at Texas A&M. Today's scripture reading comes from 2 Chronicles, Chapter 7,

verses 11 through 14.

When Solomon had finished the temple of the Lord and the royal palace

and had succeeded in carrying out all he had in mind to do in the temple of the Lord

and in his own palace.

The Lord appeared to him at night and said, I have heard your prayer and have chosen this place for myself as a temple

for sacrifices when I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain or command locus to devour the land or send a plague among my people.

If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways,

then I will hear from heaven and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
