Thanksgiving and now are having a beautiful first week of December.

Our Thanksgiving break was sweet, but really too short, honestly.

We traveled to Oklahoma, where my husband and I are both from,

and it takes, of course, most of the day to drive there.

That long drive was particularly special this year

because I forgot to book a boarding facility

for our two dogs.

So Brave and George were along for the ride,

which was really fun.

Brave is our big dog, and he's literally scared

of everything, which is why we named him brave you know we

were just trying some positive reinforcement as we named him thinking maybe every

time we say his name it's a little bit like you you can do it, buddy.

We got brave when he was about a year and a half old,

and he had been rescued from the pound

by a lady in North Carolina who finds trouble dogs

and rehabilitates them and trains them. and we got him, his name was actually

Louis.

And since one of our longtime friends and also pastor at the time was Louis Giglio, we just felt weird calling him Louis. So we changed his name to

brave. We were actually surprised later to find out that Louis was actually a little bit
