I'm reminded of home sitting in this cafe looking at the radiators very specifically.

We're in a little bar called the Jean-Bauleau Cafe, the foot of the Grand Saso, and quite striking.

They remind me of the ones that had a school to a degree. They look quite industrial. Who makes them?

Well, multiple different brands make them, but they're very characteristic of Italy and quite specifically Italy.

I've never seen them anywhere else. They're square-off and they are the actual vents.

I don't know the bits, the wings, the kind of a bit that's supposed to radiate the heat out.

It's very, very thin. You can see it's kind of like, you can see that it's thin metal.

And I think they're quite efficient, particularly style of, and you'll see them all over Italy everywhere to this day.

And what's quite interesting is when we bought the house in 2008, we bought it from a Sicilian family who lived there for 45 years.

And they basically turned a little house in South London into Sicily.

So we had two fig trees at the back. Inside it was all Italian architecture and all that sort of thing.

And they had these very specific, they obviously had them imported, especially these Italian radiators.

And then when we redecorated one room and then built a little bit of an extension, we didn't want any other radiators other than this.

We went to great lengths to actually get hold of Italian radiators.

It wasn't, yeah, it wasn't like nipping down wicks or being cute.

But I quite pleased we did because they're quite, I know, I like them.
