mountain top finish of this year's Giro, up to Mount Etna, a different side, there's like six

different sides, and it's a long, steady, old climb. 170k stage, 23.3k, 6% climb, but very steady.

There is one section about 8k to go that's a little bit steeper, a 10% kilometre, but otherwise

it flattens out of the finish. So when Ben Giannaia trying to figure out who is going to win a stage,

when a climb like this has a 5% finish to this exposed with possible headwinds, which often

happens on Etna, that decreases the incentive for GC teams to pace. And that's exactly what happened
