We have our first multi-mountain stage from Aosta Valley to Pila, very hot conditions,

30 degrees in the valley in Aosta, which is like, is pretty hot. In the mountains

when it's like 25 degrees, that means it's actually really, really hot. It's very exposed. And we've

got a lot of pollen in the air, which we'll talk about. We've got the birds are singing,

the bees are chirping, and yeah, it's just a beautiful pre-summer's day, I suppose. Some riders don't like that, though. Some riders are better in the shitty conditions, which we had in week one. Before the stage, Vingergaard was hiding nothing, Benji. And he's done this a few times. He just comes out in the pre-race interview and says, yeah, we're doing this today. I'd like to report a crime, Patrick. I think that Yonnas listened to the podcast yesterday, so that you predicted Yonans finger ground, taught to himself, let me fuck Benji over. I think that's what happens. It works that way. Yeah, I think it works that way. Not the other way around. We are playing. Not as in you help with the plan. No, no, no, no. The plan is based on the opposite of my picks on the podcast. It's based on me winning the LRCP predictions contest. So I'm like, all right. Rex, you got... You help Skaroni get in this break. Which that was not happening today, by the way. No, but you are right. You are playing this game a little bit with one hand tied behind your back, but nonetheless, you still beat me most of the time. By the way, did we ever explain that the loser has to wear a dinosaur suit?

Well, I mean, yeah, Ruth just made up, well, sort of, I gave a little bit of agreement that we had to do some sort of

funny punishment at the end. And then it's like, you're wearing, I think, wearing a T-Rex dinosaur suit,

the loser on the podcast. So we'll have to procure that. Mrs. Rouge is onto it.

But I think today, it won't be being ordered to Andorra. Okay. The stage profile, 133 kilometers.

This looks like a tour de France mountain stage, not a Gero one.

It's gradual 7% climbs.

We are on the French border of the Alps, more or less, in the Ulster Valley, and we have

French names of the climbs even for half of them.

But this is one of the longest climbs we've started a stage with recently 16k's at 6%

45 minutes climbing out the gate then a descent then a 10k valley through a auster

then an intermediate sprint where there's chiclamino points available then some medium

mountain climbs 6% 8% and 7% at about 12 minutes, 20 minutes and 12, 15 minutes respectively. A beautiful descent on

a good road surface down again through Gresden and then the decline to Pilar starts 16K
