But on to stage 8, from Gio Vignazzo to Vieste, Gargano, 211 km stage, and Pancake Flat

for the first 90Ks, then a Cat 2 Monte Santangelo 9.4K at 6.2%, intermediate sprint at the

base of that climb, then it changes drastically the profile.

So they stay on the coast, but then it becomes much more rugged as they go into the Paracorn

Nazionale de Gargano, and rolling climbs all day for their last 76Ks of the stage when

they finish to the descent of that category 2, 1.6Ks 5%, 2.8Ks 5.6%, the hardest, steepest

one, the Vier Salagat 1K at 9.1%, with 25Ks to go, just before the last intermediate sprint.
