I just got back from four days in Dallas, Texas with six girls.

Not a lot of sleep, not a lot of organization, well, not of organization.

A lot of chaos, very little sleep.

And a lot of life lessons.

So I want to share them with you.

I'm going to take a walk with Brett and I'm going to kind of fill him in on how the trip

went because he knew about a bunch of the things I had planned as surprises.

And I haven't shared with him like all the details.

And I've just been dying.

So all right, let's get to it.

Brett is here and that allows me to kill two birds with one stone.

I can update him and share some

cool things with you guys as well. So this is the first time we've ever gone to Dallas for a

girl's trip and the last, I don't know, maybe the last couple of years or so, yeah, like the last

couple of years has just been myself and Mindy and Jen Delvo and Michaela because just timing.

And those are four out of the 10 girls that we used to do trips with.

And this time, as I often do, I check with all the people and say like, hey, are you around?

And actually, the group has definitely gotten smaller over the years. Here's the way I have allowed that to happen. It's like, if I'm the only one reaching out, if I'm the only one sending birthday wishes, if I'm the only one sending... How you doing? Yeah, exactly. What's going on? Then once I notice that that's a one-sided thing, I don't take it personal. It's just like,

oh, okay, well, you know, it is what it is, and they're busy, and they've got their own things,

and I'm not going to chase it down. And typically it's with someone who's like, well, I don't know.

It's just, they've got their own thing It's just they got their own thing going on.

I got my own thing going on. And you want the people who really are investing you. That's where you should invest your time. But nonetheless, I still reach out to quite a few. And I'll be like, hey, plan a girl's trip. Are you available? and there's a lot of reasons why people are or are not.
