Each week I have a girlfriend over and we talk through one of the biggest questions

we have about our lives as women. We're talking about friendships and faith and relationships

and self-confidence, about our calling in life and how to live every bit of our lives

to the absolute full. Life is so much better and easier and absolutely more fun when we

navigate it together as girlfriends and I cannot wait to get started.

Our guest for today's episode is my dear friend Emily Tuddle. Emily is a humanitarian

videographer and producer, an artist and an advocate for people whose voices aren't being

heard. She's amazing and I cannot wait for you to meet her.

In our conversation today, Emily and I are going to be talking about how to show up and

make a difference in our messy, broken, beautiful world. And here's what I mean by that.

You guys know this but all you have to do is turn on the news or go to Facebook for 2.5 seconds

to see that there is a lot going on in our world these days.

It seems like there's a new problem, a new major issue every single day and it feels

like our country disagrees more than ever about how those problems should be solved.

Now, I don't know about you guys but I feel overwhelmed by this all of the time. I feel

overwhelmed by the amount of information that's out there. I feel overwhelmed as I hear

angry arguments on either side. I feel even more overwhelmed when I do understand at

least part of what's going on because then I realize I have no idea what to do next.

This terrible thing is happening in the world and I have no idea how to help.

Now, when I'm feeling bold over by the brokenness of this world, overwhelmed by information
