Kasey Wheeler. Kasey is a wedding photographer here in Nashville as well as a wife, a beautiful

writer and a wise soul. Kasey has been one of my best friends for a long time. We have traveled the

world together, we've been roommates and she was the very first person who knew that a guy named

Carl Wilson asked me out on the date but we'll tell you all about that in today's episode.

I'm so excited for all the way out in store. Guys, today we are talking about mission trips.

Mission trips have been such a huge part of my life and such a huge part of my faith and I have

gotten about eight zillion questions from y'all all about them and so I knew we just had to do this

episode and actually that's exactly how today's episode is going to work. Today Kasey is kicking me

out of the host chair and she's going to be asking me all of the mission trip questions we've received

from y'all. I'm so excited about this. Today we're going to be talking about how you know if

God's calling you to a mission trip. How to know which organization you should go with. How to

prepare, what to pack, how to raise the money, whether or not it's safe to go on a mission trip.

And we're also going to be talking about whether or not a mission trip is a good idea. We've heard

that short term missions sometimes does more harm than good. Is it even a good idea to go? And that's

just the beginning. You guys I cannot wait to dive in. Now I have to give you all some warning. This
