Summary

Hey friends! Welcome to Girls’ Night! Friends, I can’t believe it, but today is our last episode of Season 15! To wrap up this season, we’re talking about a really important topic and that’s how to deal with mean girls and friend drama as an adult. I wanted to have this conversation because I’m such a believer that as friends, we can be the best thing to happen to each other. In so many ways, I am who I am because of the incredible women in my life. Their guidance, and love, and presence in my life has changed everything for the better. But I’ve also experienced the opposite in friendship. The negative experiences I’ve had with female friendship have broken my heart and scarred me more deeply than any other relationship in my life. In fact, if I could go back and give my younger self one piece of advice, I’d tell her that you don’t have to be friends with people who are mean to you. But that’s so much easier said than done, even as an adult, and that’s why I’m excited for this conversation. To talk us through this, I invited my wonderful and brilliant friend, Danielle Bayard Jackson, back on the show. Danielle is a certified friendship coach and a national speaker who works to teach women how to create and maintain better female friendships. Y’all, Danielle has so much great advice on this topic. If you’re dealing with friend drama, mean girls, or friendship hurt — this episode is for you. This conversation would have been life-changing for me if I would have had it just a few years ago, and that's why I’m so happy to get to share it with you. Learn more about your ad choices.
