This song, I Can Love You Like That, is sung by All for One and was originally sung by John Michael Montgomery made as a country song.

But only a year later, in 1995, did All For One remake it and just turn it into a powerhouse that stayed on the charts for 11 weeks.

All For One also is famously known for, I swear.

They're often confused with boys to men, but very different.

And what can I say? I'm a sucker for some good old fashion, 90s baby making R&B music. I don't think

they make them like this anymore. And given that last week, I was reintroducing you to all

saints, I could not neglect all for one. So, you know, there's a few reasons.

One thing I love about this song is the intro,

and I don't know how to describe that sound,

but there's something so quintessentially 90s about that like,

you know what I'm talking about at the beginning?

It like almost reminds me of like a Cassio keyboard when you can play those demo songs or I guess

like in friends when Ross Geller found his sound on his keyboard and played I think it was

called Intergalactic Love Ballad, you know, along those lines.

There's just something electronic yet whimsy and romantic about it that just, you know,

melts my heart.

In revisiting this song today for this podcast, it has been on my short list for a while
