It's Tuesday now, the day, of course, that the YouTube News podcast comes out, and I know that you only listen to it on Tuesday.

I know you wait until 5am, UK time for it to come out. And so thank you for doing that. And what a hell of a show we've got for you this

week. I won't lie, I spent an inordinate amount of time writing this week's episode of Rat,

The Story of the Rat. I mean, sorry, I sat around waiting for the documentary crew to send me

the recording of that, and it's a bumper episode. I learned so much about the life of the rat.

It's amazing. Plus, we have some very juicy stories about Jake Paul and Tricia Paitis and, unfortunately, a numbers segment on this, the YouTube News

podcast. So let's get on with the show. Now, normally, my dear listener, I would rattle off

the news headlines with Vim and vigor and excitement,

but this week that feels insensitive, quite frankly.

Joe is beside himself, he's crying.

I am, you know, steely and stoic, but inside crumbling, like a house of cards that's made of

biscuits. Because we, it's hard to even say it. We lost someone this week, someone that was quite

important to the community, the YouTube community. And that's Jake Paul. He was eviscerated by Gigi Hadid. He was entirely destroyed by Gigi Hadid this week.

She sent out a tweet so powerful that he exploded into flames and became dust. He is a dust man now.

It was as if Thanos himself had snapped him out of existence. So rip to Jake. I want to do

the most respectful rip I can. My thoughts are with his family and friends at this time. You know,

it's so tough with your friend. It's completely ripped to shreds by Diji Hadid, so rip to them.

Now, how did this all start?

Well, it started with Jake Paul doing something very out of character,

which is just starting drama out of nowhere.
