He is one of the newcomers, and basically everybody on Gabe Capour's staff is new.

Ron Wodas is still there.

Ron Wotis is going to be the third base coach and he will

be leaned on heavily. I think he will really be a key part of the transition. But you look at the

rest of the staff. It's a big staff, a young staff, and just about everybody came from outside

the organization. So definitely an adjustment for the players. I think it was something that caught maybe some fans by surprise.

But I would encourage people to be open-minded and, you know, listen to what these guys say

and see what they're able to do.

It's a different approach.

And certainly what the Giants had before worked for a long time.

But I think, you know, the game the last two or three years has kind of moved at light speed in a different direction.

And certainly you probably see it in my writing and you see it on TV what we do and talking about spin rates and exit velocity and things like that.
