0:19.0	Hey everybody, welcome back to the Giants Insider podcast. This is the first one recorded from home by somebody who was talking to somebody else who is also stuck at home.
0:29.7	It is a weird time right now. I assume all of you guys are at home as well and probably pretty bored and probably missing baseball.
0:38.2	So we're going to try to ramp up the podcast a little bit here in the next few weeks
0:42.2	or however long this lasts and see what we can do to get some baseball talk back out there.
0:48.0	Just as far as the news goes, if you have missed it, baseball said this week they're going to
0:53.8	kind of comply with the eight-week
0:55.7	recommendation from the CDC in terms of how many people you can have at a gathering. So we're
1:01.2	looking at eight weeks from Monday. That would be the earliest that they could really get going.
1:06.4	So you're talking mid-May probably beyond that. I think if people have paid attention to what's going on and how fast this has moved.
1:15.5	So it's going to be very strange.
1:17.3	It's probably going to be a shortened season, a jam-packed season, maybe a shortened spring training there to try to get guys going again because people are going home and the Giants have told people to go home.
1:28.6	And even the guys who are there, they kind of have like a three hour window during the day where they can go to the facility and maybe lift a little bit and maybe take some swings by themselves or try to do some running.
1:39.2	But it's very strange right now for players and they're all trying to adjust.
1:43.6	And I think especially,
1:44.9	you know, the guys who haven't quite made it, the younger guys who maybe don't have a batting
1:48.8	cage in their home or don't have a pitching mound built in their backyard are going to have
1:55.0	to work pretty quickly to get a back up to speed. So it's going to be weird. There's no getting around that. If you are stuck at home,
2:03.6	hopefully you are abiding by everything. I am one of those people who says flatten the curve.
2:09.6	So do that. Be good. Be nice to your neighbors. Be nice to everybody around you. FaceTime people.
