Those are your homies?

These are my homies. There might be spoilers. I will say this on first watch. I've seen the wire three full times, Nick, and I should be watched. I might go back to like, by the end of my life, I hope I watch it like five to ten times. It's that good of a show in my mind. On the first watch, I was Team Stringer Bell.

On the second watch, I was Avon and I saw all the mistakes that Stringer made that were really a lot more evidence. Too crazy into this just because I've been, you know, you've been saying you want to watch this show for five years, Nick. At some point, you have to do something. You're right.

I'm not the type of person who's like,

oh,

I have some free time.

Let me sit on my couch and watch a show.

And that's no slight against people who do that but that's just not what i do but then why do you care about getting spoiled on it because i might at some point i might be that person might i might break my ankle and then be and then be held up and i have to like just kill time until i die or whatever like and then I'll watch the wire. All right. No more wire talk than I guess even though again I'm I will I hope we're doing this podcast for a while because it's just very fun to do and eventually the Giants will get great and it'll be a cool thing if we get to do this for like a lot of our lives. But there will be a point in time where I will cut you off. And I'll be like, that's it, Nick. We've had your chance to watch this show and it's over now. But we won't go any further there. Shout out the Wire. The greatest show in the history of television to me by far. There are competitors, Breaking Bad, Mad Men, Better Call Saul, even put up there. There's others. Sopranos. Sopranos for sure. I just watched. I'm on season four of a rewatch. I actually put above all those. And then obviously Breaking Bad. But I actually think the wire is considerably better than all them. Because as you watch it, every single dialogue and every single scene matters. It's the only show in the history where you can get something out of every dialogue of every scene. Plus, the depth of it. There's so many characters,

and there's three different components to every single season. And as you rewatch, season two,

which is Hayden on, I actually think it is the third best season. Just another take there. But no more

spoilers. Let's get into Giants Hulk. Look, shout out Carl Radner, a listener of the podcast and very one of my favorite people on Twitter. Today I tweeted about something at OTA's Nick and he said, I literally just listened to you and Nick say, you're not going to go to into the OTAs and now you're now you're doing it. But you know what? what i'll say this i'll edit and amend it because

there's a lot to talk about today we have coordinator interviews all three coordinators spoke we have brandon brown who spoke we have russal wilson and brian burns who spoke and we have practice so like there's six components on these types of oTA days actually think they're worth discussing next so we're going to get into all of that today because there's a bunch of media there we have information right those days it's actually Nick. So we're going to get into all of that today. Because there's a bunch of media there.

We have information.

Right.

Those days, it's actually worth.

And look, we're going to go over what happened at practice, but we're not going to be like, oh, my God, he went four of eight instead of eight of eight. Like, this is going to be a huge deal for the season. And we're just going to discuss that briefly, what actually went down at practice and what it means.

More so we want to talk about some of the comments and some of the developments with this team, Nick.

So without further ado, let's discuss some things that went down at OTAs. They're going to be kind of an order of how we learn them. So I want to first discuss with you the first interview we got, which was Michael Gobrio, the new special teams coordinator for the Giants. And his first thing he talked about was, if you look at the end of the season,

him can know the Giants kicker, who's very highly paid right now, taking up a massive cap,

it was actually pretty damn good.
