Hey, everybody, welcome back to the podcast.

It is almost trade deadline day, so obviously a very busy time for Major League Baseball. You've seen that already, I think, with some of the deals, especially with the Machado deal over the break and the Britain deal over the last couple days. I don't expect the Giants to be that busy, and we'll get to that in a bit. If you miss it, I wrote about this Monday about kind of where they are with the CBT

and really the reasons why they can't do much.

And frankly, they are within a million dollars still of that CBT line.

They were over it before the Jackson Garen trade.

I broke all that down on our website and kind of gave an explainer of why they want to be under that line,

how important it is to them and why they really don't have a lot of room to add at the deadline.

So it'll be interesting to see over the next few days if they're able to do anything,

if they're able to get creative, maybe ship out some salary to clear some space.

That's going to be difficult, but you never know.

I didn't think they'd be able to find someone to take some of the deals that they've dealt.

So they found somebody to take Jackson, Garon, Matt Moore.

It was the same team every time, but maybe there's somebody else out there who can help

them out in some way.

And to go over a lot of that and a lot of other things, I sat down the other night with

Grant Brisby. You guys know him from McCovey Chronicles, from SB Nation, the great work he does there.

And obviously, everything he does for us is one of our Giants outsiders, a show that they have

after every 7 o'clock game, most every home game, especially during the week, they will be on in really a fun way to
