Summary

We had zero expectations for the Jets, but they looked pretty good offensively and probably should have won the game. For the Giants, it was more of the same that we’ve seen for years. Giants fans want Jaxson Dart to start. We talked about Friday night’s game between the Chiefs and Chargers and how the Chiefs have an issue at WR now. We took calls from Giants fans who are already fed up with Russell Wilson and the offense. Jerry returns for his final update of the day and starts with the sounds of the Jets losing to the Steelers. We wondered about Justin Fields wearing gloves, maybe because of the rainy weather. The Bills came back in the fourth quarter to beat the Ravens as Derrick Henry had a costly fumble. Brian Daboll talked about losing again. The defense only allowed 14 points for most of the game but they have zero offense. Jerry went around the NFL including Ben Johnson who’s fired up for tonight’s game against the Vikings. The Yankees beat the Blue Jays and took the series. The Mets lost to the Reds and dropped the series. The Moment of The Day: Mike Tomlin’s kicker likes to ‘Bang from deep’. In the final segment of the show, Boomer asks Gio what teams were most disappointing in week 1.
