Welcome back. It's the Big Blue Banter. New York Giants Football Podcast. I'm Dan Schneier. Join as always my host, Nick Falado. And I can't think of a better way that I wrapped up draft weekend, Nick, than today. Finally did it, Nick. Got out, no West. Late afternoon tea time. Obviously, we've been working all weekend. And I finally did it, Nick. I finally shot under 100 on a golf course. No Mulligans, no breakfast balls, no gimmies, putted it out. Nothing. I had a four putt even in there. And on 17, Nick was the first time. I knew I was playing good, man. Like, this was the purest that I've ripped my arms. Triple bogey. Yeah. Well, I triple bogeyed 18 and still shot the 99, which is insane.

Triple bogey. Dude, you probably got so pissed off, though, when you were triple boge on the last hole. Well, I knew I had so much legroom. I'll tell you why in a second. So I had a nine today on one hole. That sucked. I was in the sand. And I had two sand shots that didn't get out. And then I had to do a third sand shot, you're burning strokes.

0:53.3

That was a nine.

1:11.2

But I had two sand shots that didn't get out and then I had to the third sand shot. You're burning strokes. That was a nine. But I had three pars and a birdie today.

1:16.9

And so that was really the difference in me breaking 100. But on 17 was when we finally first said like,

1:22.8

oh shit, it could be happening. I had 90 through 16 and it was a par three on 17, so I just needed to

1:28.6

bogey, bogey out to get under 100. And I hit a T shot on 17. It was about 154 yards out. It drops on the

1:37.8

green 10 feet from the hole, and I have a birdie put 10 foot for the hole, and I sink it for a

1:42.6

2. Then, all, I have so much leeway at

1:47.7

that point because I met 92 with one more hole left to par four but I still almost blew it had a

1:53.1

nice drive duff the next shot then I had 148 yards to the hole.

2:02.6

Hit a seven iron so pure.

2:08.5

One of the, I hit my iron today as pure as I've hit it, that it actually landed pin high and bounce up top to the hill.

2:10.6

Then I had like a long put miss.

2:12.0

Another put miss.

2:15.1

Then I had a four foot put shaking missed. And then luckily I had so much leeway that I could hit that fourth put in for a seven, triple bogey, 99. The job is done, Nick. I broke in a hundred. It took me a year and a month to break a hundred, a year and a month, a little less than a month, about 12 and a half months to break a hundred. I'm happy for you, man. Good for you. You know, I do. And like, I give you shit for golf because golf is kind of boring.

2:36.4

But I do appreciate somebody putting their mind to a task and accomplishing that task, especially when you've been under as much stress and as much work as you've been under recently covering the draft and the New York Giants. Yeah. It's been a lot of work. and I knew this was going to be the day to blow it off.

2:31.4

I didn't know this was going to be the day to do.

2:32.8

I've been waiting what's the day going to be.

2:34.4

And I, the biggest difference today, Nick, it's so crazy.

2:37.0

We're going to be the day to blow it off. I didn't know this was going to be the day to do. I've been waiting what's the day going to be. And I, the biggest difference today,
