I know that was the big discussion, Nick, for the last 24, 48, 72 hours.

And we'll discuss in this podcast what Joe Shane, the Giant GM said about potential trades. There was, you know, big talk today about the Giants in the last 24 hours trading up for Drake May. I had been convinced it was going to happen, wrongfully so. The Patriots after, shortly after the draft, their GM said it was never really that much of a decision. Once we found out the Giants, the Washington was going Jay and Daniels, we had pretty much made our mind up. But, you know, there was some talk that the Giants had made a big offer, which was this year's round one, next year's round one, and pick 47. That was supposedly the big play they made wasn't enough for the Patriots. And I saw a rumor, Nick, that the Vikings offered three first round picks plus the 2026 for three, and they were denied that as well. The Patriots,

So the Patriots clearly had their conviction on Drake May as well. Giants tried to trade up for Caleb Williams. From what I heard in January, they had talked to the Bears. That didn't go anywhere. Obviously, no one's trading Caleb. So the Giants weren't able to trade up for the quarterbacks they had a conviction on. So instead, they took the best player on their board by far. And I think we would agree to start, Nick. If you just looked at it, quarterbacks aside or even the quarterbacks that were available, would Malik neighbors be the best player available on your board at six overall? Yes. Yes, Malik neighbors. I had a higher grade on Malik neighbors and I did O'Donzei and some of those

tackles you might be able to talk me into it with all off the board, then yeah, it would have definitely been Malik neighbors. Okay. And I think even for me at least, if all was on the board, I had a much, I had considerably higher grade on neighbors. I liked all, but I felt like neighbors, there's just nothing really wrong with him from a film standpoint from a projection standpoint from an

from a projection standpoint, from an athletic standpoint. There's just not much not to like about this prospect. We're going to get into a bunch of that. On this show, we're also going to get some quotes from Joe Shane and Brian Dable. We're going to talk about some scattering reports, some interesting people. We're going to talk about our scouting reports. We already did a show on him, which you can find on our page.

We did it, what, about a month ago?

2:00.9

It was a film breakdown.

2:01.9

We might have been docked for some of the films. So there's just more profile scouting talk on there. And then we're going to get to some, you know, discussions, big picture about the Giants. And of course, anyone joining and listening and tuning in right now, you can put your questions in the super chat.

We'll try to answer them throughout the show, but likely we're going to do most of them at the end of the show.
