So today we were going to talk to you guys a little bit about our recap and our thoughts

0:37.3

after the Giants Thanksgiving loss to the Cowboys to drop to what Nick, two and ten. I always lose track of what that final number is in these years like this. I'm thinking back like, is it two and nine, is it two and ten? Is it two and eleven? It just keeps piling on and who cares about the final record at this point. But yeah, man, we'll talk about that. We'll talk about some film reviews. And we'll maybe talk some 30,000-foot few concepts stuff with this team because, like, there's injuries now that are going to make them even worse down the stretch. Like, if you think they're not competitive now, wait until you have Dexter Lawrence off the field. This is, and unfortunately, Dexter Lawrence is out for the

1:11.4

year, for those you didn't see it, but I'm sure everyone has. But yeah, man, I don't know, Nick, where do you want to start? First, I should start by saying my Twitter, it got hacked, everybody. I didn't leave because the Giants are that pathetic, although I believe that is a valid excuse to abandon my ex. I'm working with X right now to get it back. That's why I am not on there at the

1:12.3

moment. I have working with X right now to get it back.

1:28.2

That's why I am not on there at the moment.

1:30.4

I have no idea how this happened, but it happened.

1:33.1

And I should be back shortly, I hope.

1:35.9

But I wanted to get that out of the way.

1:37.6

Now with the New York Giants, at least it wasn't the worst beat down in the century

1:43.2

or in the last four days because the Tampa game was a lot

1:46.9

worse. But still, even though you look at the final score and you're like, what was it, 27 to 20,

1:51.4

you're like, oh, it's a one score game. The Giants had a realistic chance, Dan, to drive down the

1:57.2

field at the end of Brandon Cooks doesn't make that catch. But that is much more of an indictment on how pathetic the Dallas Cowboys are, rather than the New York Giants being competitive, I think. Now, Drew Locke went out there and Drew Locke was, I think it's safe to say he has a more lively arm than Tommy DeVito. But he's Drew Locke. He had the pick six. He had the fumble. I think those plays that I'm sure Brian Naval absolutely hates, those come with the territory of Drew Locke. But I would rather see Drew Locke than Tommy DeVito. So I think we could start there. If we're going to start just touching on the game, we should probably briefly go over the game, some of my film takeaways from the game. And then we can get into this 30,000 foot view stuff like is Dan Schneier going to play defensive line for the giants of the next five games because I have no idea what the giants are going to do on the defensive line and there's a lot of bad news surrounding the team at this moment when it comes to injuries yeah we'll get to injuries I'm sure most people have seen it there's a lot to unpack unpack there. There's multiple points that I wanted to unpack. So instead of starting on the DeVito, and I do want to start first with the point you made about the score, 27 to 20 and how in the end it looks like a one score game. Look, we've been through this one a lot as a fan base. Those judge losses, those end of error judge losses, the end of 2020 judge losses when you know you're not really in the game. You're watching as a fan. You're never really in the game. But in the end, it kind of looks like you're in the game and you technically had a chance to, I guess, maybe be in the game. And that, and what scares me the most is the parallel between that, Nick, and then what Joe Shane said is byweek presser about how we're really close. We, you know, we're one in five in these one score games. It's a really faulty logic, I think, for thinking that you're close when the reality is Dallas played different on that last ride. The Giants actually should use more hurry up, to be honest, to just simplify things for lock. I really do believe they look best by far as an offense. The one drive

3:41.0

they went to hurry up. It was by far the best. Now Dallas is plenty of different defense. I get it.
