Join as always my goal. It's Nick Vallado. Tonight, we're here to recap the Giants' 31 to 19 road victory over the Washington commanders. I keep thinking to call them the football team. That's what I like to call them in week 11. What is it? Week 11 takes the Giants to 3 and 8. Nick, what are some of your initial reactions from the Giants win tonight? Tommy DeVito, man. Talk about throwing with the anticipation. That dig route, Darius Slayton was absolutely beautiful. He had some times of Sakewon Barkley. We got to see Seekwon Barclay used vertically down the football field.

Danny DeVito, Tommy DeVito, whatever you want to call him.

He's slinging it around the yard.

And then the defense, bro.

It was a defensive effort.

I want to talk a little bit about the adjustments.

Maybe we'll get into that a little bit in the all 22, more than maybe right now.

But there were some really nice adjustments that the Giants made offensively to spring their rushing attack. Because Dan, they didn't have any rushing yards until the end of the third quarter when Saquan Barclay rushed for, what was it, 36, 37 yards. And what they did was they started running G lead, pulling Justin Pugh as a lead blocker along with John Michael Schmitz. And you should have saw those two getting on the run together, just clearing out bodies off the edge. You give a Sikwan Barclay a crease. He hits that crease, and he's gone. And again, I want to apologize up front for my audio quality. I'm still waiting on my microphone. I'm back here in New Jersey right now. So I'm just using the internal mic on my MacBook. So it's going to be a little shitty. Yeah, the mic might not be great for my end either for this one, unfortunately. But we'll fight through it. It was an interesting game, Nick. The commanders outgained the Giants in first downs by almost double, or no, by double, 28 to 13, which was big. Total net yards, They had 403. The Giants had 2292.

They had more rushing yards, 174 to 91, more passing yards, and a greater time of possession.

But of course, they turned the ball over six times in this game, the Washington commanders.

They essentially gave the game, handed it over to the Giants in this one.

Sam Howell, some things that stand out.

20, what, 46 passing yards of DeVito. Obviously, the net yards take some sacks off.

He had 9.4 yards per attempt, which is insanely high yards per temp. Nick also in this game,

Tommy DeVito became the first Giants quarterback to throw three

touchdown passes or more in a football game since December of 2019, also against the Washington

football team. That was four years ago, almost a full four years ago that the Giants had a quarterback

throw for three passing touchdowns or more. So, you know, obviously that was great just to get the ball in the end zone through the air. One of those touchdown passes, I guess, you know, some are, you know, it's fair. Some was an easier one that Barkley one. Still a touchdown pass. And the two other ones are really pretty nice, honestly. And I wanted to talk a little bit about that. There was other things I want to get to. I want to get to the Howell side of this because I really do honestly feel Nick, like Giants just have this mental edge, Mike Marnedell specifically over, over Sam Howell. But actually, why don't you dive into this real quick? I'm looking for Brian Dable's quotes on Tommy DeVito after the game.

So I thought he had some interesting quotes about his timing in the passing game. But I'm looking for that now and I didn't find it where I thought I would, Nick. So why don't you jump in if you can?
