Hey, everybody. It is September 13th, and the Giants have not won a game this month, which you probably know.

It's been a terrible month, but I think we look for bright spots here, and one of them to me has been today's podcast guests.

I think Aramis Garcia has done a very nice job behind the plate, and that's not just me saying it.

I mean, that is something pitchers have said, and Bruce Bochia said repeatedly.

He has come a long way defensively in terms of calling games, and they feel very comfortable

with him back there.

And also has done pretty well at the plate.

He is six for 15 so far.

Two home runs, obviously had a memorable homer for his first big league hit.

A nice way to do that.

And really has just done a nice job.

And I think an important job, given that this offseason, the Giants, I'm sure,

we'll try to bring Hunley back, but they don't quite know if Buster Posey's going to be

ready for opening day.

And they don't know how much rest he might need early in the season or how much first

base he might have to play next year. So having a guy who is going to be at that level, kind of that AAA ready to break into

the majors level like Aramis is and has proven that he can do it up here a little bit, I think

is going to be important for them and allow them to maybe worry about making additions elsewhere

instead of worrying about having to go out
