All right, this is the emergency Andrew McCutcheon pod.

First of all, shout out to all the people on Twitter yesterday who were like, where's the emergency pod?

So I probably should have done it yesterday, but I will say the Giants didn't officially announce the trade until pretty late in the afternoon.

So they were not in the eyes, crossing the T's.

And I was at home with my family, too, so I wasn't even here.

It was a holiday.

I was at home painting my apartment and had to get TV ready within like five minutes.

That's your life.

You never know in the off season.

We've talked about it.

It's almost better during the season because the games are on the schedule, right?

There's no schedule.

You just hope you don't take a day off and they throw a no hitter or something.

But Andrew McCutcheon is a giant.

I wrote a lot yesterday, but for the podcast crew, my general assessment is once you got Longoria, this is a move they had to make. And I think

we've talked about this of how much it made sense. And just a guy who is a good fit, we'll play

a corner spot for him. We'll know more in the next couple of days of what the exact plans are,

where they're going to hit him, all of that. But he can be a top of the lineup guy. He can hit
