And today we're returning to a previous episode to commemorate the tragic events that

happened 17 years ago this week. There are many ghosts in this story, it's about some people who have given over their

road to lipara and

There are many ghosts in this story,

but it's not a ghost story. It's about some people who have given over their lives

to the work of searching out the dead and giving them peace, and maybe getting their own share of peace in the bargain.

This story is set in Shrebonica,

the scene of an infamous 1995 massacre

that eliminated almost all the town's men

during the Bosnian war.

Producer Anayansi Diaz Cortez went there recently to report on a different assignment,

but there was this story that wouldn't let her go.

I was in Baudhny Huzagovina to report on life there, a decade and a half after the massacre how it's going for the people

still living there how they're doing with the work of Ling the past to rest.
