Summary

Recently, my best friend, James, and I visited the Orpheum Theatre here in Wichita, a historic venue that’s been entertaining audiences since 1922. Originally, it was a vaudeville stage graced by iconic performers like Al Jolson and Harry Houdini. They still have many great shows and events, but I’d heard over the years that it was quite haunted.  So, we sat down with the Executive Director, Stacee Olden, in the heart of the theatre and talked about the spirits of this grand old theatre just waiting for their next encore. We stayed for a ghost hunt that night and didn’t experience anything paranormal, but it did seem like we weren’t alone during our talk about the theatre.

Today, on the Grave Talks, a conversation about the historic Wichita Orpheum Theatre with executive director Stacee Olden.
