Dr. Brian Parsons, he is the director of Ghost Help, which is formerly Ohio Paranormal

Investigations Network and has been investigating ghostly claims since 1996.

He's written six books,

Handbook for the Amateur Paranormal Investigator,

Ghost Hunter, How to Become a Successful

Paranormal Group, as well as Betty's Ghost, a guide to

paranormal investigation, and several other books pertaining to the investigation of

ghosts. He employs a unique methodology to ghost hunting of client-centered

investigation that utilizes a skeptical foundation. Psychology, advanced

interviewing skills, parasycology, spiritualism, as well as the ghost excavation methodology.

It very much breaks the mold of what you would see on paranormal investigative television shows.

Brian, I'm going to start out with a very, very broad stroke question. How do you classify something as being

paranormal when we're talking about ghosts? Well I'm not so much a fan of the classification systems that I see a lot of people talking about or writing about putting in books or blogs and on television shows and all these other things.

I think it's I think we're trying to do what we normally do and like

what scientists do they like to classify things based on different either DNA classifications

or what they eat or what they do.

And I think we're getting, as far as the ghost aspect is concerned,

I think we're getting a little too carried away.

We're putting the cart before the horse.
