This was a This week we welcome to the show author and parapsycologist Dr Brian Laith and Brian I'm going to this thing, my new intro situation where I either try to describe you or I get the guest to give us a little bit of a bio about themselves.

But Brian is the author of a book called

ghosted which we're not doing dating I think it's an excellent name I think it's a

great name for a book about haunting and ghosts and

parapsycology and all of that kind of stuff right and so it was a really

fascinating and thought-provoking read but before we get to the book Brian

tell us a little bit about yourself.

And in fact, let's just jump straight into the traditional first question.

Were you a weird kid?

You know, yes, but I almost feel like I'm just going to repeat your previous guests because I can think of at least two or three over the years who you know were raised in Midwest

You know sort of conservative Christian country middle of nowhere backgrounds and that's exactly how I was raised too.

But yeah I started having early childhood you know like hypnagogic episodes, dreams, sleepwalking, had a lot of, frankly,

negative spiritual experiences when I was younger, but of course was raised in ultra-conservative Protestant sort of Christianity, you know in the 80s.

So it's not like there was a lot of alternatives even available or out there.

So yeah, it's pretty much the story that your listeners have heard previously,

redone 15 times, but yeah, with that country background.

Cool.

And with that, so. on that

people in the show before who sort of have some stuff happen to them.

They don't really have a framework for his kids and then find it in euology or something as they get older going like, oh shit. Something like that happened to me.
