The earth is full of thousands of plant species

and God made our DNA and he made the DNA of all these plants.

And he knows that combines beautifully with our bodies.

So I feel like, for me, God's at the root of this.

This is God's pharmacy.

That's how I've always seen it.

God gave us what we needed to sustain ourselves

and as we've gotten away more and more from it,

I mean, pharmaceutical companies go out

and one of the things we had to learn was pharmaconetics,

which is how drugs are derived from plants.

And so originally that's what happened.

And then they just got more and more synthesized

because it cost about a billion dollars to put together

to bring a new plant-based drug to market.

Like in pharmaceuticals?

Yeah.

So that's why they've started with this whole mRNA, by the way.

And because not that it costs that initially,

but now it's going to be much cheaper overall down the road.
