Okay, you're relatively newly married and you had an argument with your husband, but it's grown out of proportion.

So tell me how it started.

So I had just had the flu, and I wasn't feeling good.

And now I've gone back to work, and I still have some residual effects.

Plus, going back to work is stressful.

And a couple of days ago, my husband's family had messaged him that his grandmother

had booked a last-minute flight to come see the family and that they were going to have

a barbecue at their house.

And it was very last minute.

I think we had two days notice.

And my husband had mentioned it to me.

And I told him since I wasn't feeling well and I was feeling burnt out that I wanted to take an extra day at home to rest and recover. And he got really upset

and asked me again to go and I told him I really think I need to stay home and just prioritize my rest.

And it's now blown up to where he feels that he's not being prioritized or his needs,

that he wanted to go somewhere when I wasn't feeling well.

And I feel kind of hurt because he isn't prioritizing my health.

So I'm really struggling for us to see eye to eye in the situation.

And if I am wrong, I want to be able to remedy the situation.

Since I am newly married, I want to strengthen my relationship.
