Grab your scriptures and let's dive in to Joshua 3.13.

When it was finally, finally time for the Israelites to enter the promised land, they faced one major hurdle, the Jordan River. They had to

cross this large river bringing all of their families and possessions without the help of boats or

fairies. But the Lord had a plan for this younger generation of Israelites. They would have a

Red Sea-type experience here at the Jordan River. However, this time would be different. God told the

Israelites that the priests would go first carrying the Ark of the Covenant. That's the part of the

tabernacle that symbolized God's presence. And then, quote, as soon as the souls of the feet of the

priest that bear the Ark of the Lord shall rest in the waters of Jordan, the waters shall be cut off,

and they shall stand upon and heap.

So the Israelite priest had to get their sandals wet before the waters would divide for

them to walk through.

And sometimes the Lord requires that of us too.

Before we can gain a testimony of tithing, we have to pay it.

Before our physical healing comes, we have to ask in faith for a priest of blessing.

Sometimes the Lord requires us to show our faith by getting our feet wet before the miracles in our lives can happen.

So the takeaway of the day in five words or less is, get your feet wet.
