In our busy world, family time frequently gets neglected.

It is vital that we give attention to our families while we can,

and it is especially important to give attention to what God says in his word about our homes. For the next few minutes, let's join Scott Pauli, as we open the Scriptures and find God's

There are two people in Scripture that God says walked with him.

The first was Enoch. We talked about him in our last study, and the second is Noah. In Genesis

chapter number six, we read this in verse nine, these are the generations of Noah. Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.

And then immediately after that phrase, we read these words in Genesis 6, verse 10, and Noah begat three sons,

Shem, Ham, and Japeth. I love the fact that God connects what he was doing in this man's heart

to what he was doing in this man's home. You see, God's concerned about every heart and God's

concerned about every home. In other words,

God's interested in you, my friend, as an individual. He wants to work in your life. But he doesn't

want to stop there. He wants to work then through you in the lives of those who are all around you.

His purpose has always been that he works in individuals, and then that

opens the door to the entire family. For example, a New Testament parallel. In the book of Acts,

do you remember Cornelius seeking the Lord? He had to individually seek the Lord, and God heard

his prayer, and God saved him individually. That's the way God works. He's a personal God.
