In our busy world, family time frequently gets neglected.

It is vital that we give attention to our families while we can,

0:15.0

and it is especially important to give attention to what God says in his word about our homes. For the next few minutes, let's join Scott Pauli, as we open the scriptures and find God's

Over the last few days, we have been looking at the first family.

1:47.3

For example, we read this in Genesis chapter 5 and verse 3, and Adam lived in 130 years and

1:53.8

begat a son in his own likeness after his image and called his name Seth.

1:58.4

And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were 800 years, and he

2:03.0

begat sons and daughters, and all the days that Adam lived were 930 years, and he died. There's the

2:11.7

key phrase. Yes, he lived. Yes, he had children, But then the Bible ends this way, and he died.

2:21.8

In verse number eight, you come to Seth's life.
