It's Get Your Mind right Monday.

It's me, Niyy Shobo.

Yo, so we're so used to watching sports, right?

And what happens every time somebody wins a race,

every time somebody scores a touchdown, throws a touchdown,

hits the game winning shot, what do we always see? We see them look up to the sky, right?

And they point up to the sky, and what they're doing is they're acknowledging God,

whoever and whatever that means to them.

And we dig that, right?

They're acknowledging God.

So the other day I'm running, and I like to run hill sprints, right?

That's one of my main forms, keeping my body in tip-top shape.

And when I get to the top, every time I run a hill sprint,

I like to do something that anchors me that makes me feel good

and tells myself good job, right?

And so I found myself looking up to the sky as I was running.

But when I did it, something felt off because I started thinking about where I'm at in life right now

and how my philosophy on God is ever so expanding and changing.

So let me explain to you what I mean by this.

A lot of times we're meant to believe that God is up in the sky, that he's sitting down, blessing us from above,

judging us, whatever. And I don't know your religious beliefs. I don't know where you grew up.

I don't know what your philosophy is on God. But here's what I know for sure is that we are all
