along with the theme we're exploring this week. This week is all about cultivating a sense

0:16.1

of inner joy. In today's episode, you're going to be guided in a meditation to feel

0:22.8

more grounded. In yesterday's episode, you discovered how one of the best ways to feel a

0:31.1

deep sense of inner joy is to first feel peace. So you'll be guided as you cultivate feeling more

0:43.2

at peace within yourself. And this is going to lead to feeling a sense of joy. It's almost

0:51.8

impossible to feel joy when you don't feel grounded. When you feel like things are out of control

0:58.9

and maybe you feel stuck. So as you're guided in today's meditation, I invite you to perhaps use

1:08.4

1:19.1

where I received my meditation teacher training. My meditation teacher actually gave me this

1:25.6

1:33.0

helps me to feel really grounded. For you, you might feel grounded by having a photo of a loved one

1:40.7

or maybe there's a certain meditation cushion or location where you like to meditate. And this

1:47.8

helps you to feel grounded. So you're going to ground yourself then you'll be guided to experience

1:56.3

more peace and finally, inner joy. So settle yourself down and make sure you're nice and comfortable

2:05.2

as always. Pause for a moment and look around your meditation space.

2:13.4

Notice what helps you to feel grounded right where you are.

2:27.2

Now close your eyes and feel really connected to where you're seated.

2:32.4

Feel the ground supporting you.

2:41.4

Begin to tune in to how you're feeling today. Name your emotional state.

2:56.0

Begin to inhale and exhale through your nose at your own pace.

3:02.4

Gently elevate your eyes upwards and feel your mood begin to shift upward.
