I'm your host, Aria, and today we're talking to the number one pickleball player in the world, Anna Lee Waters.

Hey, rebels.

Annalie Waters was the youngest pro-pico-ball player ever at just 12 years old.

She's won 165 gold medals, had 38 triple crowns, is ranked number one in the world, and plays

alongside her mom.

They are the only mother-daughter pro team

in pickleball. So without further ado, Annalie, will you please introduce yourself to the audience?

Yeah, so hi, I'm Annalie Waters. I'm the number one pickleball player in the world. I currently live

in South Florida near the Delry Beach area. How old were you when you started playing pickleball?

So I was 10 years old when I first started playing pickleball and honestly I wish I'd found it sooner.

Like it's been around for a while, but it just became popular like during COVID.

It like really blew up. Like I was even playing it before it was like a cool thing to do.

You are ahead of the curve. Let's talk about pickleball as a sport. Sometimes people don't realize

how physical and competitive it is. Tell us what you say to that. I used to play tennis and soccer,

so, you know, obviously those are two very high intense athletic sports and I always kind of look down

on pickleball and finally my

grandfather actually convinced me to go out and you know play with my mom and him and I had so much
