Hi guys, in this video, I'm going to talk about the importance of salt and a ketogenic diet

and how to get more salt in your diet when you're on a keto plan.

Now, I know you probably heard that salt is really bad, it's going to increase your blood pressure.

If you're doing the ketogenic plan that I'm recommending, you're consuming a tremendous amount

of vegetables with a lot of potassium or you're supplementing with electrolyte has more potassium.

So when you do that, a lot of times you're going to be deficient in sodium because here's the thing if you're in a high-carb diet

You're going to have higher amounts of insulin and you're going to have more water retention and more sodium retention.

When you're on a low-carb, low insulin,

you're going to release the excess water, and you're going to release more sodium.
