Episode Zero aired in August of 2015 with Amanda Nelson anchoring the show, which means this has been on the air in some

form or another for more than seven years, which is absolutely wild. It has been hugely fun,

hugely educational, and not going to lie, also a huge amount of work, but it also has been

a labor of love. While we're sad to see it come to an end,

we're also always excited to see what's next here at Riot. I personally couldn't end the show

without doing some number crunching. Happily, we've got some decent tracking on our end,

and it was kind of gobsmacking to see these numbers all added together.

So here we go.

It's a lot.

We had 2,680 questions asked via the request form, so almost 3,000 questions, plus many others

via our email inbox. There's no good way to count those. So just know there's a whole lot.

We do not have a good way to answer to count questions answered, but it was also a lot. I can guarantee that. In terms of books

that have been recommended on this show, we started tracking in 2016, and approximately

530 individual books per year were recommended on average. But 2016 was the outlier.

In 2016, there were 1,090 titles recommended because that was back when we didn't understand how to pace ourselves.
